It's been quite a while since i've last posted. Havent really been on pc at home after getting this iPhone. Lol

Much things have happened, i supposed.

Well, kept thinking positively for pretty long too. Hahas, there's always sth to smile everyday no matter what happens in between.

Was telling hun that our company is undergoing some pc system changing. It was indeed inconvenient but hey, at least thr's a eye candy colleague there.

Maybe hun would be jealous, i thought but then again who would have known who was i referring to except thyself. *smirks*

This also mean i'll get to head to work hunting for sth cheerful everyday.

And i just received more good news, I've seen updates on FB that I've got friends engaged, and another trying wedding gown le. Plus, Sweetie Atirah's Wedding Dinner is coming up next week. Hahas.

Started Dec with one of my poly besties' wedding.

Anyway, more tests coming up. and i'm thinking of not studying for one of them for tmr paper.

so awfully painful.

been so busy.

uni term 2 started last week and omg, i havent even understand what's happening for the courses in term 1. omg.

Econs...Management...and sociology coming up on tues. my maths and stats are fading off fast.

had a super packed sunday last week.
plus we met up with my teacher for kite flying at marina.
hahas. the tiny kite just cant fly even though deardear tried running around the field like a small kid. must have lost some calories there. *snickers*

oh, oh..and watched a late night show at cine on fri. Wall Street. thought deardear and i would love the show. but it's just too tough for me to understand most of the lingo. hahas. anyway, deardear loves the show and all i can do is i have to try and undertstand the show, at least for part my management course...lol. again.

been almost a month.

i took my driving liscense 2 years ago,

had 2 classes of uni, and omg...it's horrible.

it's been super long since i blogged, i think...

been super hectic, and things are all running concurrrently in my life now.

see the work's never ending, and piling up everyday, the meetings are almost endless.
and oh, attended my cousin's wedding few days ago.

and then our housing things still coming in, lost the stupid letter and cant seem to retrieve it even when i go down hdb hub personally. but nevertheless, we'll still try submit whatever we remembered now..

exactly at 9.30am this morning, my hp rang.
I was thinking hmmm...who called me with a land line.
"Hello, is this Ms Tong?"

I had the most amazing call conversation I had this whole week, i suppose.
My coursemate called, and broke a good news to me.
"Hey, check the web. USA web, our names are inside, we've all passed!"
hurray! After abt 80 hours of class time, torture shuttling between office and classes every alternate day, I finally got the exam done and passed it.

Now, i'm waiting for the actual score from Singapore's end.
hahas. Our whole gang of noisy coursemates have all passed too.

ok, so i came back from genting last evening.

Woah, it'a blast there. So many places, and of cuz so many photos.
I'm still in the holi mood. damn.
I gotta work tmr le, poor baby dear dear went working today. must have been tired.

hmmm...so there were 8 of us in total for this trip.
And yes, i still did not go to the theme park. not in the mood for the rides. must be.
Went to strawberry farm, movie, lots of Dim Sums, zi char, and hmm...1 BK, 1 Pizza meal.
Bought lots of choc, tidbits, clothes, pants, lingeries. lol.
And the guys were asking. "WTH price is that?"
They couldnt believe that lorz.
Anyway, i think tt's all i bought. baby dear bought more things.
Me - 1 luggage go = l luggage + 1 light shopping bag back.

SIM has accept my application.
So i'm going for my uni this coming july.
3 years.
And i'll be bonded to my company for quite a while.

Next, had my exam today.
*Yucks* ok, i finally completed this.
Results will be out in a month or so.

What's up for my past weekends?

I attended a buddy's 23rd birthday on sat!
BBQ near my place. hahas.
And the weather was "funtastically" made for him.
No rain at all, especially when it has been raining almost everyday at sembawang.
lol.

You guys should have seen how he bacame so old in seconds.
With flour, water from his friends.
and the event sort of end near midnight though i finally gets to wash up at 2am.
dots... it must have been even later for my friend.
Anyway, hope you really had some good fun on Sat, YC!

Next, Sunday...
Darling came over to my house without telling me, and omigosh...
he must have chose the right time.
I was in the midst of getting my baked cheese potatoes cooked, so when he stepped in...
He gets to eat it. muahaha.
And after that met up with YC, we went to catch a movie.
Though quite crappy lines, but we were laughing away our sunday for "Pandora's Box".
Feels cool to relax when one is feeling so stressed up.

Now, i'm left with less than 20 mins to get back to my book...
I've limit myself till 9pm online.
I better get my Arborist Exam passed.

Forgive & Forget

Sorry, I do not function like that.
Most often, when i havent even tried to forget incident(s), I will never forgive.
I admit this, I'm petty.

It has been a long day yesterday, and I'm feeling terrible, even till now.

I need a space to rant my thoughts, to vent my frustration or my upsets in a way, and most often I'll end up blogging. Even when I stopped blogging for a long long while, I starts when I have the urge to write/type, the sudden surge of happiness/sadness/anger/busy-ness, etc.

I've just wept myself to sleep this morning, at 3+am.
I admit this, I'm a crybaby.

I'm an attention seeker, I seek for attention.
I can be left alone, but not too long. It irritates me too.

How could you not feel?
How could you tell me everything in the day, and everything just turn opposite in the evening?
What is love? Being generous?
Fine, I admit this. I find love selfish at times.

What is the use of seeking permission, when I couldnt even say no in that kind of situation?
What is the use of standing up and leaving at the moment in time to stop the suffering I've endured throught the hours when all it does is putting us both to shame, and me being a wilful girl?
ok, I admit this, I'm jealous. Awfully jealous and upset.

And i know, I'll probably remember this particular incident for the month or so.

Remember the choice you made when you left us and went away.
The time you kept quiet and listen throughout the conversation a couple of days back.
Remember the incident jsut happen this horrible morning.
I remembered this very very clearly "You're my buddy", it sounds very wrong when I dont feel that since nearly a decade ago.
"You're my buddy", when you got my love one over to your side for so long hours.

Sad to say, if you happen to read the above, I'm never too sorry for blogging away.
If i never get the chance to write/ type my feeling, I'll always be moody and I'm be upset at least for a week, and I will never do this to myself ever since Blog came in.

And yes, there goes our decade of "buddy".
Yes, I'm petty, a crybaby, an attention-seeker, selfish, jealous, upset, love-over-friend kinda girl.
And I do not bother abt anyone else i'm feeling down.

Scenario 1:
You are very poor and you pratically have nothing except a family filled with hungriness.
You venture into the forest for food and you saw gold on the ground in front of you, but it's surrounded by catus, plants with sharp spines and thorns.
All you have are your bare hands.

You have the option to try.
a) You need the gold badly, so it doesnt matter if you injured yourself as long as you get that piece of gold.
b) Forget about it, head back home and sleep.
c) Think abt it, you might find a bunch of food if you re-route. Ultimately you are just trying to stop hunger, and not hunting for gold which cant be eaten at that point in time.

What will you do?

For a friend of mine,
Sometimes, you cant just think of yourself.
Sometimes, you get injured just by thinking if that's your gold and you need to laid your hands on it.
But have you thought abt this? Did someone left the gold there on purpose, surrounded by those spines, and thorns to protect it?
You might have a better chance of not suffering from starvation if you re-route in time.
It's time to let go of the gold you saw, and continue on your search of food.
May your heart heal soon.

Blog update since i'm at home on Christmas Day this year.
hahas.

Went to Genting Highlands last weekends. The journey up took us abt 7 hours from Golden Mile in Singapore to Awana Genting for check-in.
Had our very late & expensive D-lunch (Lunch + Dinner) up at Genting.

Anyhow, our friend went off to Casino after meal and we went shopping.
And woah...everything was madly on sale.
And my goodness, the boys were in fact trying everything and buying everything.
My friends are so cute, they always does that...and whenever they are doing that kind of shoppings, it will also mean i've got nth much to buy too.
After the shopping, we went to Casino too for a while before we went back down to Awana for rest.

The next morning was cable-taking up, and the clouds are basically around us, and it's so cold.
B-Lunch and Casino the whole day away, wanted to go theme park but it was raining out there..
Again, the shopping continues, and this time is food, so much foods and tidbits...
Ah, the friend stayed in the Casino on the 2nd night through 3rd day.
Goodness...

Came back to SG on sunday night...and sleep till late morning on monday.

So ytd went out for christmas celebration with dear dear's friends.
hahas.
Nice one, though i really had no voice for singing ytd after eating one choc.
arghs...and came home so late that i slept till nearly 12pm today.

Wasted such a good day sleeping away.

I finally took up the courage to sms a friend.
like WOW! -_-"
but this is a very special case...which i suddenly have influx of thoughts now.

it was due to a special reason that i finally sms this friend, whom i once thought that we will never be friends in the future.

He was a nice quiet boy in school.
And yes, my story is true.
It was in secondary school.
It left me beautiful memories, which some of them i wouldnt share.
Not here, at least.

It did scare me, at that point in time.
My decision might not have been right.
I chose the hard way because of a love that did not get to blosom.
I choose to let go of a friendship.
I escape away, and i daren't talk to him, for years.

I find it immature now that i thought of it.
I could have been his friend, i told myself abt a year back or so.
But it was a little late. I have no idea where to start from.

I finally took the courage to ask him a question online.
A simple one. "Are we friends?"
He asked me, "Why? Of course, we are."
Afterwhich i left him alone.

And now, i heard news.
Something which I wont want to see this friend of mine go thru again.
He'll be hurt. Again. Somehow.
Either faced with rejection or more.
Given the choice, somebody must let him know...

What is Love?
Why do you need it?
Do you really perhaps like her?
"Envy" is not the answer that I'm supposed to hear.
Why are you forcing yourself?
You must not start a love because you envy others.

Yes, nobody is perfect.

"Do things with your heart", that's what I told him.
But i mentioned these too, "Think and consider before you decide."
"Let go early, it won't hurt as much"

I finally took the courage to be your friend, to get over it.
To start anew, and so did you.

went for a short trip away from the mainland.
headed off to Pulau Ubin.
A total of 8 in a group.

was initially quite dissappointed with the weather.
the moment we checked into the resort, the sky turned dark..
and before we started moving out of the room, it started drizzling and we had to make do with in-house mahjong..

and we moved on the crab-catching.
The resort used to be under MCC, but now as it switched to Celestial Resort, my friend's favorite jacuzzi made way for the fishing, prawing and "crabbing" pond, which served us as a better choice this time with more ladies around.

And what's better is that the uncle and auntie who tend to the fishing facilities were superb.
Oh, there's a couple of dogs that created impression too.
A pity I forgot to take some snapshot of them.
One of them looked like a mini black cuddly bear, whom I called the cute bear-bear-dog for the 2 days. Whatever it is, we caught so many crabs, and they were delicious, unlike what I have in mind as tasteless, etc.
The flesh was sweet, salty, and just yummy in a word.

I shant go on with the details, but the next day, we went cycling.
And the weather was good, the way I wished for it. hahas.
Went chek jawa, and there were so many creatures seen even in high tides.
From the swordfish, mudskippers, seagrass, mud lobsters, hermit crabs to Fiddler Crabs, etc.
We went up the 20 m tower too.

Cycled till 5 plus before we actually head back here in bumboat.
and I actually had my dinner and came home only at 9.30.
Good thing that I took leave for today..

okay, so after more talkings and thinkings...
I went to SIM ytd, hoping to get myself enrolled into SIM degree course.
I went and listened.
intently.
lol. but i did not do any application in the end.

due to some commitments, and more thinkings, i shall wait a lil while more.
i'm just hoping the urge to study wont die off in between the waiting.

Though tmr will be monday again, i'm super looking forward to next weekend.
haha. been planning so long. and bugging the reply of the resort has always been a prob.
nevertheless, we're going to Pulau Ubin next week for some nice gathering and fun.
And i really do hope my friend can come along, and his camp wont suddenly call him back to do any duty.

Anyway, somebody just reminded me to go and pursue my degree fast.
to take up the approx 3-months course that i wanted soon too.

I've been dragging this matter for some time.
I've been delaying it, and putting it off for a better time which my mind did not foresee the delay it caused.

A senior told me this today.
"Dont wait anymore. I help you get the course detail, e.g Coordinators, etc that you need. (The 3 months course things) And it might help you plan better. You might even be surprise that you'll be enrolling into degree course by tuesday too as monday is a public holiday."
Haha, i know he meant it as a joke, i wont be plunging in so fast. I smiled and thanked him in reply. And I left.

And then guess what? Like what he said in the afternoon, he smsed me this evening, telling me the coordinator told him the 3 months course schedule for next year will be out in oct, and ask me to keep a lookout for it (I suppose)

Somebody took the trouble to check things out, get the facts and tell me things.
someone out there is concern abt my studies, and my future.
I think i better wake up my senses ans start preparing for my studies.

I just made a small promise to myself in my heart.
Since somebody took the trouble to get the facts, took the trouble to remind me, I better get this idea done soon. I better look thru where and what i have been doing for the past 30 odd months.

And i heard our manager is really retiring soon.
sighs.
He's nice, and he's concern abt his staff too.
So even if he's leaving, I shall do what i have promise myself a short while ago.

i began to believe that i've only just started to learn how to play hard.
been having quite abit of really late night weekends.
singings, partyings, gatherings, etc.

with only laughters, friends, and my boy, nothing else.

i guess one of my friend got a lil drunk ytd, the liquor. hahas. but not for me.
i'm liquor-free again ytd. The liquor still resembles something that taste awful and trouble-causing liquid to me. so i stayed away, and yes. at least if things goes very wrong, i'll be the only one who's responsible for all my friends, there's still a person out there. anyway, most of them are liquor-tolerant so well i'm fret-free ytd again.

i waiting for another holiday tmr. and next week, a long weekend with chalet again! on leave till i'm happy. work-free equates to trouble-and-pain free.

horrible gossips out there.
i hate office politics.

i shifted my spacious, colleagues-less place to a cramp, gossipy, noisy, full of colleagues location.
good and bad, time seems to fly faster than usual.
but i'm suffering more now...

cuz of a backache, sore neck and squinting eyes in the mornings due to un-adaptable sitting position, sun-reflecting location.
And worse, the gossips...
in the working environment of many uncles, big brothers, etc...a lady shall have to suffer all rumours whenever she talks to anyone.
damn. they're all men.
Anything i do, their minds is in a super-utterly-corrupted-dirty state.

i had a wow july this year.
so colourful, and it's aug now.
and there's more coming!

i'm gonna take a few days leave from that gossipy place.

The works' fine, just that people hearts arent that pure.

so i had a wow birthday this year. wanted to blog. but the stupid browser is not really working, even at this very moment.

I had a really nice dinner at a cosy restuarent in Orchard central. Then we went walking all over to wait for harry potter's movie

the next day, i had a really nice breakfast, watched a superb play, had my dinner while watching fireworks on Cheng Ho.

Then to my surprise, my friends were waiting at esplanade to celebrate my last 2 hours of my birthday.

So, I went back to my sec school on Friday for our 10th Anniversary!

The concert was a big bang and there're so many familiar faces around...!

In short, it was a WOW feeling the moment I stepped back on school grounds...

A rather packed weekend and a holi just whizzed past fast.

Saturday: Dear's friends' bday. Went off to Bugis for a dinner celebration.
Sunday: Sec Class reunion after 5 years. Seems like we're all getting older. oops, I mean more mature. haha.
Monday: Went to Dear's house for a quick mahjong.
Tuesday: I'm on leave, am blogging away till later. Meeting my sec sch buddies out. =D
Wednesday til Friday: On course.
Sat and Sun most prob out again.
Monday: another Course to attend to.

tt's my week agenda.
ups and downs.
sometimes cool, sometimes yucky. sometimes both at the same time.

To the girl who think she's a princess, keep dreaming.
you'll never be a friend of somebody anymore.

I remember I had a friend
A very best friend, I had.

Things took a change when we parted our ways for our studies in a different institutions
People changes, and do we.
We had our own friends.

At times when we had our class gathering, something would always cropped up for her.
Somehow, most of the times, it happenned that way.

I gave it some thoughts and decided that she was no longer my bestie, neither would i really say a friend.
We shall see more this week, the next gathering, what goes on again.

Alright, i had a nice lunch with Aranda, my ex-colleague at Fusionopolis on thursday

A lil ex, but haha, the layout of the food was pretty cool.
3 course food for $15 nett.
Includes a really nice soup, a main course and a desert.

That was my salmon, which i forgotten the exact name of the dish. haha

A friend came visiting, we are still waiting for Chio Hui to come back from her exchange trip in UK so we can meet up really soon.

it's been like 5 years since i last my indo-chinese friend studying in Australia.

I've got plenty of time to kill now...
what shall i do next?
hmmm...

btw, I've just lost my scrabble game match on wed. the opponents were like super cool.
And they're exchanging pointers with us. haha.
shall wait for next year match again, this time i suppose we'll be more prepared then.
=)

It's weekends, away with the work, away with the trouble and the stress.

another big "war" on msn itself...
Jo, i guess we did not go thru by phone is because on my part hearing ur voice @ such time might be worse. I'm a word person. I cant go thru phone, i break down too easily over the phone.

I did not blame you. Not now.
I did a few times back, blaming u emotionally for many things.
I stopped as it's really causing a strain in our relationship.

I did appreciate a couple of things u did for me.
I did, I always does. Emotionally and literally. Verbally wise, maybe i'm not too good at it.
I supposed ur love langauge is not words. I gotta start learning another way, perhaps.

It is not that i do not want to stay out late, giving excuses.
I'm really tired at night, past my sleep time. I'm a day person.
It's been 21 yrs since i learnt this habit. We gotta learnt each other habits,

A couple share, leant and be happy together.
Shall we really start to know each other better now?
It's not too late now, i think.

Jo equates to lover. I just love this name. Isnt that a match set by Heaven to let us both have the same name. A man and a lady?
